Right guys, it is the new year and we have to make sure we take care of our skin, mind, body and soul. With that being said, I have been thoroughly enjoying a few body care products from two brands that make fantastic skincare products that I would love to share with you guys. A little info about my skin, I have really dry skin, especially in the UK winter months. I also do not enjoy the heat or any product that makes me excessively sweat, hence why I don’t enjoy using body oils on its own without mixing it into a moisturiser.
As the temperatures drop, it causes the skin to feel dry, itchy and very uncomfortable. Finding a suitable winter skin care range that works for your skin is important to achieving and maintaining healthy looking skin. Finding moisturisers that not only hydrates the skin but soothes it, either smell good or has no smell and is affordable is harder than you think but luckily I am here to help. Last year I got the pleasure of trying out the Bioderma Atoderm range. I have showcased a few other ranges from Bioderma on my blog and social media channels which work brilliantly for my skin.
The Atoderm range is designed for very dry to sensitive skin which restores “the hydrolipidic film of skin” lacking moisture.
Atoderm proposes specific hygiene and skin care products suited to your needs so that your skin is soothed at last and regains its optimum level of hydration.Escentual, Bioderma
Women or men, baby, child or adult, our Atoderm range has been specifically formulated to take care of the skin of all the people you love!Bioderma.us
Bioderma Atoderm Nourishing Cream: . Don’t get it twisted, dry or sensitive skin can affect anyone at anytime, the weather can also cause your skin to react differently so finding products that help protect and soothe the skin is important to achieving a healthy and youthful skin.
This product is made for dry and sensitive skin, it is hypoallergenic and fragrance free. I especially love this moisturiser because it softens and replenishes my face, body and even my feet. It absorbs quite quickly into the skin preventing any unnecessary stickiness and it is also lightweight. As a result, it is suitable for babies, children, adults and even during pregnancy . I love applying it in the morning and night after my shower/bath .
I love the pump applicator as it helps moderate the amount of product that gets pumped. You get 500ml of product and it ranges from £12.50- £18.50. It also comes in a smaller tube packaging.
Bioderma Atoderm Ultra Repair Hand and Nail Cream: Who else is guilty of ashy hands? We all suffer from some ashiness, no shame here. It is important to have a handy hand moisturiser that absorbs quickly, is easy to use and will hydrate your skin. Trust me, this moisturiser will replenish even the thirstiest skin.
It is hypoallergenic and paraben-free, and is designed to soothe and nourish the skin. It restores the skin’s natural barrier so it’s better able to defend itself, whilst strengthening and nourishing your nails. I literally don’t go anywhere without it, its creamy texture soothes my hands and provides the comfort and care I need. You can literally use it as many times as needed throughout the day and night.
You get 50ml of product in travel-friendly packaging for £4.50.
Another product worth mentioning that is part of the Bioderma Atoderm range is the Moisturising stick for damaged and dehydrated lips. Keeping my lips pristine and hydrated in between lip swatches and on a daily basis is very important to me. As a lip swatcher, I can not afford to have dry or dehydrated lips. Protecting my lips is one of my must-do skincare steps.
This product is infused with shea butter which we all know is good for you and comes in a very handy stick. It helps to restore softness on your lips over time (ensure it becomes part of your daily skincare routine for optimum effect) restoring comfort and softness both immediately and over time.
Chapped lips are smoothed with avocado oil, while laminaria repairs and improves the skin’s tolerance against external aggressions.Bioderma uk
It is fragrance-free and preservative-free which is kind to the lips. I would recommend using a lip scrub at least twice a week to ensure your lips stay smooth and soft. You get 4g of product for £5.50.
That brings me on to the second brand I have been loving. Now, who doesn’t love Soap and Glory? we all low key wished we got some soap and glory over the Christmas period, I know I did. Soap and Glory are known for creating fun, beautifully smelling products that work. They are known for their iconic Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss and the Righteous Body Butter as well as a host of other skincare and makeup items.
Soap and Glory Righteous Body Butter: As mentioned above, this is one of Soap and Glory’s most popular products. It is an award-winning product and and contains shea butter, aloe vera and rosehip seed oil. I love using it twice a day straight after my bath, it feels really smooth and nourishing on the skin. The shea butter softens the skin while the aloe vera absorbs moisture keeping my skin fresh and nourished. It has a pink fragrance to it which makes my senses really happy.
wonderful aroma’s of leafy greens, bergamot and mandarin, with a floral and fruity middle note that makes your nose tingle a little, followed by soft, sexy, musk, oakmoss, amber and woody notes.

This product has really made a difference in the way my skin behaves over the winter months. I recently finished my body butter and I can’t wait to stock up on it. For 300ml of product, you pay £10.00 plus this product comes in mini size and in gift sets.
I also love using this product alongside the Flake Away Body Polish. This is a smoothing body scrub which contains shea butter, sweet almond oil, apricot seed powder, sea salt and sugar. It buffs away my dry patches to reveal softer skin.
Have you used any of these products? what are your personal winter skincare heroes? Please share below. Many thanks to Chase pr, Bioderma UK and Soap and Glory for gifting me these items.
Until next time, thank you for stopping by.
