Hey guys,

Welcome back to my blog, hope you are all keeping well. This post is about a makeup tutorial I did using the BHCosmetics ItsMyRayeRaye collection. ItsMyRayeRaye is a social media personality, she collaborated with BHCosmetics to create an essential eye and cheek collection, featuring 15 matte and shimmer shadows in a silky, blendable formula with rich color payoff, plus 3 contours and 3 highlighters to create a refined luminous glow. The collaboration also features a 9-piece brush set. The plush synthetic bristles of these face and eye brushes blend, bronze and deposit pigments with flawless precision for endless looks.

The packaging is very easy to travel with, the plush pink colour is very pretty. It also comes with a good size mirror and a good range of colours; neutrals, bold and dark shades. The highlight and contour shades are woman of colour friendly, extremely blinding so a very light touch is needed when applying. The only down side to the palette is the fall out that happens when you dip your brush into some of the shadows. The palette retails for $22.50 which is decent for what you get, it is vegan and cruelty free.

The brush set is your standard face and eye set. There are 9 brushes in total, not enough to create a full look (in my opinion). The synthetic bristles are not the softest, they feel prickly on the skin and don’t pick up product well. The eye brushes don’t pick up as much colour and I find i have to swirl it around a few times to get my brush coated and it ends up kicking up a lot of products. the only positive I have is the colour of the handles and the packaging. The brush set retails for $24.00.
